Ian fitted a rear bar to mine (without asking for it) and it seems to be the standard ford one that came with the new diff.

Hi Phil
(Pneall)

would you know the distance between mounting eyes (left & right wishbone) as I am concerned with the differant wheel offset between my car and the newer version CR.

Thanks

Hi Craig, from what your saying it appears you have the earlier type rear sway bar mounting points (I was thinking of welding in some brackets to mount the Ford sway bar)
The sway bar mounts on my chassis are down below the front of the diff snout.

Craigs car is the generation just before ours. It has pretty much the same chassis but Ian moved the front suspension pickup points out about an inch on both sides on our kits. This was to reduce the scuff radius on the front wheels. If you look closely at the pics of craigs car you will se he has more dish on the froth wheels than the later cars.

Rear sway bar mounts are for the factory Ford Au rear bar. Dont make the mistake I did of buying an after market bar because they are a different shape and hit on the diff mounting. The only problem with the Ford bar location is that it's a bugger to get to.

I think Ians newer cars run rear sway bar mounts on the bottom of the chassis and run the bar under the lower control arms.

Cheers

As soon as I have finished playing with the Cobra over winter I'll get the rear bar sorted. On my CR the mounting tabs are on the centre chassis extension facing in. I think out may have been better.

Craig , I'll check dimension and let you know tomorrow.

Phil

It sounds like you have the same rear sway bar mounting points as I do Phil.

I did think about welding some tabs in place to mount the ford bar.

Craig,

Hope I have measured the right part.

The distance between the sway bar link points on the bottom wishbone is 1130 when in the fully droop position.

Phil

Default They look good

Boxhead,

I picked mine up on Saturday and they look really good. The mounting centres line up with no issues.

Only thing I have to work out now is how to fit them to the Jag flat bar.

Box Head

Pedders must be doing a bulk delievery today. Micheal rang to say mine was on the way as well. He said he had made 10 of then.

Phil,

Once you finish designing your rear one, we can all place an order again. I suggested that he should give your rear one for nothing, because if it is right he have another order of 10 for the rear.
Thanks again for all your help.

Rod
