Default Visting Perth, Sydney and Melbourne

Greetings, I am visiting your great country on buisness until June 10th and was given a request by a club member back in Colorado to find some Cleveland 2V closed-chamber Australian heads. Any ideas where to search and what I'd expect to pay? I was given the number for A1 Hi-Performance in Myree but don't know anything about them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can be reached by email at garybpat1"at"aol.com (replace the "at" with @).

Any events or get-togthers in Perth, Sydney or Melbourne in the next few weeks?

Thanks, Gary Patrick - Denver, Colorado

Those 302C Heads on a 351C make for a seriously high comp ratio, Racing fuel only.

Putting them on a 302 Windsor bottom end would be cool though. Imagine a Boss motor that makes mid range and bottom end due to the more realistic port sizes than the 4V heads.

I've got a pair of 351C 2V heads free to a good home. They need a rebuild but are good cores.

Cheers

A1 Hi-Performance in Myaree, this is a good choice, Leon is the owner of the shop and produces possibly some of the best work in Perth, speak to Leon or his wife they are both very up2speed.

A1 Hi-Performance : Unit4/49 McCoy Street, Myaree, Perth,
Ph: (08) 93171915

The next Perth Cobra club meeting is on the 24th May, Wednesday night.

If you are here at the right time, you are welcome to attend, contact me for more details,

SIMMO

Thanks all - I'll contact A1 before I leave Perth to see what they have. This is for a street car so I don't think he wants the compression that a 302 head would provide - but he is running a 570ish CI motor with 13.5:1 in a Torino so I'll ask.

The best bet are the freebies in Melbourne. I am pretty sure I will be there the week of June 5th and when I know for sure I'll contact you.

Looks like I'm headed to Sydney the morning of the 24th but if things change, as they seem to do on this trip, I'll see if I can get to your meeting.

Thanks again,

Gary
