CSX Number plate
Hi All.
I was driving behind a Silver Porsche 944 with the number plate "CSX" a while ago. I maneuvered through the traffic and pulled up next to him and rolled down the window and shouted out "Are you a Shelby Cobra enthusiast?" or words to that effect. "No" He said and asked why I asked. I explained the significance of the CSX number plate and he said "Those are my initials". A friendly wave and we drove off.
Can't be too many people with the a sirname starting with X let alone the initials C.S.X. I thought it was pretty cool coincidence.
Cheers

Hey Mike, I have CSX 065 on my Honda and was told by another Cobra driver that he had tried the CSX plate thing and nobody knew what it meant! Who cares?? I know what it means! Isn't that what matters??

I've got the plates CSX-66 for when I get mine on the road. Leeroy got CSX-65 and I thought it was a great idea.
I've also got BAD-ASP which was my first choice when I got the kit. Not sure which plates I'll use. Maybey I'll sell BAD-ASP or just swap them arround every year.
Cheers

Pickup line?? I'm not that smooth.
If it hasn't got an engine and wheels I haven't got a clue.

Hi Gav, I'm back home. Hooray!
It's interesting traveling but I'm a bit of a home body. I've been flying round the world for work for years now and the novelty has worn off. A holiday for me is staying at home.
I haven't had much Cobra time on since I got back as I've a big list of chores to do. Might get a bit of time in the shed this week end.
Cheers

Aussie Mike
All of us who know you believe that was a 'pick up line'. You cannot confuse us. just a good looking guy eh...
I think CSX is on the car that belongs to the owner of "Lorraine Stars" parlour...
It's always in the back yard when I go in the back door there...

I guess this story would have been a lot more interesting if it was a beautiful blond woman with unfeasably large breasts driving the porsche.
I'll have to use a bit of artistic licence next time.
I'm not even going to ask what the "Lorraine Stars" parlour is but I'm guessing Stiffy has a VIP membership and a reserved car park.

Mmmmmm the 'G'.
Aussie Mike,
Somehow I was thinking along similiar lines.. this great looking blonde who is a CSX fan and was keen to build a Cobra. She follows you home to check your garage out..
Your mates all come over.. Geeee great imagination ehh.
Then again reality, you probaly wouldn't ring your mates to call around......
