Default NSW guys - Anyone in Gymea area with a bike license?

I'm hoping that someone in the Gymea area might be able to go and have a look at a motorbike for me. It has listed on Ebay in the last 3 hours with a buy-it-now price that REALLY got my attention.

It's only 2 years old, so the general condition is hopefully "unmarked" as described, but I don't believe everything I read on Ebay

Thanks for any help !

Is it the Suzuki SV1000 on eBay?

I've always liked them. Nearly bought it's predecessor the TL1000 when they first came out but questionable handling withe the rotary rear shock setup and 23 degree steering head rake put me off. Magnificent motor but a bit of a slapper by all reports.

The SV has got the handling sorted but still retains that magnificent V-twin motor.

Cheers

Thanks guys. It was a 2yo CBR1100 Blackbird. Too cheap to be true - it turns out that it was a damaged/repaired bike that the guy previously bought at auction. Hmmmm - definitely one to steer clear of !

Scott - I know you always comment on sports bike riders being "temporary Australians", but I just feel that I have to have something that I can enjoy on the road for the time being. Not to mention the Mr Turbo bolt-on kits available for not much money

Mike - I live in a cul de sac (sp?), and there are only two bikes that ever come up the street. One is a 996 Ducati with a titanium zorst, the other is a Honda VTR SP2, also with an aftermarket system. Probably the two nicest sounding bikes I've ever heard. The only Suzi twins I hear seem to have the factory exhaust still in place, but I bet they would sound the part once they're opened up a bit...
