I like the way you guys always try and reinvent the wheel ! Why not just mount the box the way Ian does, use the standard GMH mount turned around 180 deg & bolt straight in. Sure looked simple to me when he did that on my car!

Ben,
I was up at Ian's shop about 4 weeks ago and he told me exactly the same thing. He actually had one on his hoist and showed me what is done. Yep, it's use the GM one and mount it 180 degrees around and then make the mounting plate a "V" shape like you have done.
