Scott e.... I'll WAXER you in a minute.....!!!! I'm not a waxer I'm more the sugar daddy to the cars PREVIOUS OWNER! Besides I prefer to be the recipient of a good polish if you know what I mean!!!!!

Now how do I highlight the term PREVIOUS without it being too understated!!! hehehehe

See you on the weekend

Scotty,

You'll be opening a Jewellers next

I never thought you would be working on The Beast with gloves on.

And on what car is that number plate now residing on?

Spook - Great job - I trust your piggy bank is well and truly broken

Please, please get some qualified advice on the angle used on the steering joint going into the rack. Looks FAR beyond safe design limits.

Yes...clearly Scotty you are an amatuer who knows nothing about what you are doing. Get some professional advice now before Spook turns that beast into a smoking pile of chrome and green neon trying to drag some ricer on the gold coast highway......:P

I think Rick might be concerned about the reach across to the steering wheel from the left hand seat

We drive on the other side of the road down here

Cheers

Glad Matt's happy with it.

How much power did it make on the Dyno?

Talking The BEA7T

Yes.....still smiling like a "deaf" chesheer Cat. Glad we went for the quiet pipes. Geeeez! Now every purple or blue flashing light I see I get a case of the heeby jeeby's! Noise officer? What, hey, sorry, can you speak up, can't hear you.....

The car is AMAZING and after 9 months in the rebuild wilderness it certainly is my little showstopper.

Can't wait for the nationals...Ear plugs were supposed to be for Oz's snoring but apparently they will have other uses now as well!!!!!!!!!!

SpookyPT

P.S. Craig, the dyno figures were quite impressive. Scotty has the sheets at home so I might bring em for the breaky.

Don't leave me in the dark about your dyno figures! Bringing them to the next breakfast won't help because I won't be there. In Shannon's terms 'What about me'?

Spooky

The suspense is killing me. Can't you give us a hint on what the results are?

Don't expect huge figures guys.

But I'm really interested in what a normally aspirated 4lt Toyota engine can put out with just better breathing. You get about 230rwhp out of a stock engine with just a better exhaust and ECU tweaks.

So if you get closer to 300rwhp you would be happy. Especially since you get that fantastic look of multi-throttle bodies. (drool)

We all know with a little forced induction these little engines throw out some nice big figures and some big torque increases and due to head efficiency(4 valves) etc do not need to be decompressed...so still plenty of poke off-boost and even more when under boost.

Cool Hp

Craig, your about right! It was never meant to be a DYNO warrior. Just a nice motor with bling and healthy HP. Remember though we're talking bigger cams, valve springs, Haltech E11 V2 Comp, 8TB, Headers, side pipes bla bla bla. OH and not much CHANGE in $'s........

It never was meant to be a BIG HP motor. Just a sweet healthy motor. And it is all that and ALOT more....

You'll all see it at the Nationals...........

So Spook if you won't answer our question we'll ask another!

I remember driving behind your car when Venom still owned it and went like a little rocket then, how much faster does it go now? Is it a totally different car to drive now? Come on I want to pretend this is my car and it's finally finished.

Talk it up

Depends...if it was when the car was turboed then obviously not as much HP. Scotty had 400 plus RWHP then I think? But the car has changed a bit (HEAPS) in looks and engine config. The goal was to build something different and we achieved that and then some.

It'll still blow your hair back if that's what's worrying you...

Venom had it turbo charged at one stage.

It was absolutely insane when it had a turbo.

Even N/A they are rockets. Venom builds his cars light. I remember the first test drive around the block of our Venom Enhanced cobra. It was untuned N/A Lexus and it felt like a rocket, already much faster and more responsive than our old DRB with mild 302.
