Im new
hey there guys
just thought u i wuold introduce my self. My name is kamal. i have just finished building my cobra. it was a kit that i bought have built. It doesnt have compliance and isnt registered. i couldnt afford to put a injected motor in it so i decided just to put a 302 carbi motor for the time being.
its a RMC kit from my understanding, it has front and rear jaq suspension, 320w and a toploader behind it.

Welcom Kamal,
When are you going to get it engineered and registered?
It is a good looking car, but not much fun if you cannot drive it!

Kamal
welcome to the forum. Looks like a nice job and a colour one of our regular posters is looking to do his.
Although he may have some orange left over from a recent paint job he has completed so may have changed his mind

Hi Kamal
Welcome to the world of Cobra's.
I don't suppose you need front and rear bars do you?
I have a couple going cheap.

Great looking car you have there,
If you havent guessed then Leeroy is refering to me, But alas I have no orange left. 4 litres doesnt go too far on a windy day (or maybe I should say it goes everywhere on a windy day)

Hey kamal, Great looking car, the RMC is a great shape. Good to see another Ford powered roadster.
What are you going to do?...not being registered make it tuff to drive around.
Welcome to the madhouse.

Joining the Club
Kamal,
Great to see another RMC on the road. It looks like an early RMC?? There are a few quirks on the early RMC that you may be interested in getting some advice to improve.
Now have you considered joining the Cobra Car club of Victoria??? You might want to get to know a few guys in the club. There maybe some options for you to register you car yet. There are many RMC's on the road down here and lots of excellent advice. You are welcome to come to a club meeting held on the first Thursday of every month at Club Tivoli 291 Dandenong Rd Windsor at 7:30pm.
Good luck
Tony

Winter!!....when?...
Not here, Winter is perfect cobra drive time. You must be from one of the..... ahmm "Southern States".
EDIT... and what's that I spy on top of the left rear guard....that's not a radio aerial is it?

Nice wheels
Kamal
Great looking vehicle!! Looking forward to hearing it on the road.
What wheels do you have fitted here? They look great!! I am thinking they might be dragway Deep Dish or DB38s. Details around sizes and offsets would be greatly appreciated - I am currently looking for something similar.
Cheers

Hi Kamal, youve got a great looking car there. I think Rebel 1 is right, the RMC has a fantastic shape.

Welcome Kamal
Nice to see another RMC.
You've done yourself credit from what i can see.
I think I'll have to pick another colour - when I settled on yellow there were hardly any!
as Tony says the Vic Club is looking at rego options for builders so maybe we'll have something of interest to you.
look forward to seeing you

Kamal,
Welcome to the forum mate. Yes the Cobra looks good there.
Perhaps the 'CH' plate option could be the go..?
There are a number of GT40's and similiar cars running around on these plates.
I think the Cobra Club is looking into that option. Perhaps the next Cobra event in Melbourne would be worth your attending. Grab a 7 day permit perhaps to attend in your Cobra...
Again, welcome to the Forum
