Default VDO Tacho Wiring

Hi All

I was hoping someone could help me out with a wiring question. I purchased my instruments from G-Force and unfortunately the tacho did not come with any wiring diagrams. I have all other gauges functioning properly but need some help with the meaning of markings next to the four terminals on the tacho
I hope I have this correct, the markings are:
W G 24 -

I have one wire from the ECU that is meant to be for the tacho, I have tried connecting this wire to all the terminals with the engine running but one of the terminal caused the the motor to stall, so before I ended up letting smoke out of one of the major components I would ask the forum for help.

Thanks in advance
Stuart

Stuart

If you still have problems talk to either Roger or Ian Howard at Howard Instruments the VDO dealers in Heidelberg, Victoria.
