I've had heaters fitted in the back and squab of the seats as I was having the built for me anyway.
Here in the UK it get's cold, damp and horrible on a regular basis.
Can't say if they're any good yet as I haven't yet wired them in.
I love the ones in my Boxster S and the wife's MX5.

Has anyone tried the heated vests? How do they compare to the heated seats, and what are the better ones and what is the cost of the vests?

All this in the middle of a heat wave across Australia. I don't have a heater in my car and have never needed one.

Hunting (electric) socks could be the go for those in the cooler South? I do know of a fellow Cobra driver who has a 12vt plug-in electric blanket for his wife and that works well.
