17 days to Xmas
Now that I have run it in a little, I went for the final tune yesterday, now computer and engine are friends again.
Is running your car on a dyno the most excruciating experience you can go thru, although a Ford V8 reving to 6500 under load thru side pipes is a wonderfull thing.
Car is finally ready, or ready enough to have some fun, getting the soft top made early next week so good weather is guaranteed for the nationals.
Looking forward to see everyone and putting some faces to people on the forum.
Absolutely can wait.

Too Familiar
Chrome,
Thanks for the correction, how about some details of your car, or better still some photos.

Another CR
Phil
To answer your questions, i have a CR but unfortunetly it was unprofessionaly built by a backyardy, cost me five times as much as he said it would and it is still not finished. I will be at the nationals and I am counting the sleeps! You have seen my car before as it is registered in NSW and has been for a few years now.

Gee I wish I could help WASP.
Oh I know, I'll come pick up your Fiji ticket, and that leaves you free to prepare.

More than enough
HI Richard,
The engine performed well, we got 408rwhp at 6500rpm and we could go a little more but I just could not take any more!!!!
The torque flat lined at 350 footpounds very quickly.
The engine was still making power, and we will probably get about 430rwhp, with a little more timing and revs.
The engine power curve is a straight line, there are no spikes or troughs, it is very well behaved and settles to a nice and very grumpy idle.
Richard, you are still forgetting something, even with the stock 5ltr I was still the weakest link!!!!

Yeeeha, Phil!!
My boys currently at at work on the recalcitrant 347 figure they're squeezing 309rwhp out of it. Have to say I'm happy with that (until I see yo'ass disappear in the distance). These new tyres I got will have to be something special to be competitive. I can only hope those speakers you got jammed in the back weigh about 300kg.
Weakest link? Yeah, right!
See you soon

Hey guys,
The thread seemed to have wavered a bit. Are we doing armbands or a secret hand signal or just say hello to everyone and ask are you in Club Cobra or What? See ya Saturday week.
By the way, just got the interior done this week.

Cheers BJ
