Are We Excited yet only 17 days to go.
I dont even have a car to dive and i am excited about the nationals ,i guess when its your only holiday for the year you do get excited .
Looking forward to see all of you that are going and once again that wetback slacker aussie mike has not finished his car .
Mike you have to learn to say (no i need to finish my cobra first.)
I think if mike ever finshes it he will get trophy for the most painfull build. That is painfull for all of us .
I do have a new car on the way and it has a v8 but its more of crusier than a racer.
anything with less than 400 rwhp is a crusier in my opinion.

I'm with you Oz, can't wait for the Nationals.
And I know, you and I both certainly deserve the holiday.

Can't wait
I can't wait and I have not got a car to drive either.
Looking forward to seeing all the guys I know and meeting a few I don't know yet, and seeing the results of winter rebuilds. Two in particular that I know a bit about.

Like a kid waiting for Christmas.
Even tried my rarely used helmet on last week. Yep, still fits.
Can't wait to try my new race boots!

David, I would love to. I am actually going to drive down and back every day, and was not planning on going on the saturday. However holding a stop watch and seeing these guys up close would be great. What time do you need me to rock up on the Saturday ?

Not a very flattering photo. Got to get myself a better camera. That photo was taken before the final polish which was done last Friday.
Green is nice.

Churchy,
We'll be setting up from 9:30 at the start line for the Go-Whoa (end off pit exit lane) for a 10:30 kick off. There should be some relief guys through the day so you can take a break and have a wander around.

Thanks Leigh
I am really happy with the way it is coming along. Still need to do the interior and get rid of those huge ugly rego seats. I am having a pair of smaller ones made as we speak.

Some of us know some others of us, but how will we recognise those of us we don't?
Maybe a secret salute, or a special handshake or furry hat like the Mason's.
Since OZ started this thread, he could have the honor of being Grand Poobah for the weekend.
We could all represent Aussie Mike in his absence and wear white Vader masks

A sign of club cobra.
As Grand poobah( is that another way of saying big **
I think it would be apropreate for all member from the forum to wear a black arm band for two reasons in memory of the great late peter brock and to identify forum members posibly with your forum name on it.
