Ahhhh Uncle Pete, what a fine analogy you make. Shovels, spades, edges and cricket.
During my recouperation, I had the opportunity to watch the game of gentleman. Not often do I watch this as it is a little like watching paint dry and secondly, I certainly don't make claim to being a gentleman.
What I did notice tho Uncle Pete, that had the visiting team used a bat with a wider edge like a shovel, that just maybe they could have made more runs.
