Default Valiant Chargers

Hey there guys, does anyone have a good knowledge of the Australian Chargers?
Or is there an Australian website with a Forum that I could ask some questions on?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Default Reason I ask.

I have a fairly good VJ Charger body that requires just about everything else (including front guards, nose and grille, I am wondering what other model valiant/charger parts might fit.
My wifes uncle (who is also in Alice Springs has an old Valiant wagon in his back yard, it hasnt been registered or driven for atleast 6-7 years, I dont know yet what model it is but I was going to see if I can find out then ask if any or much of it would be suitable to fit to the Charger I have.
I am not looking to build a parts correct car so am not worried if I fit a different model nose to this car, infact I like the look of the later model (dont ask me what it is called) that has the larger 2 pieces grille in the front (could be CM?)
I also like the look of the nose that was on a vehicle a mate had 15 years ago, I thing it was called a Chrysler by Chrsyler (thats the only badge I remember) it had a 318 motor that we swapped out for a 440.
The nose was like the bumper went right around the front, up and over the top of the grille.

I hope this all makes sense.

Default should be ok

I have to confess that I didn't do a lot of panel swapping but did talk to many that did.

The doors have to be charger doors but forward of the windscreen the panel are not charger specific.

As far as I recall the panel sets for the front pretty much bolt up from VH on - I think the CM front end will be fine

try

Thanks for the links and the info.

I have been checking out the MoparMarket and joined the SA forum, I have also been over to a friends house and currently drawing up a rotiserre to put the charger on.

My brother had a charger with a 265 he converted it to a 360. Great looking car.

I had a 1968 pillarless dodge phoenix which I converted from a 383 to a 440. My only comment is that the 360 was a heck of a lot cheaper to do up than the 440. Most of the parts for the 440 had to come from the states
