And one from here in New Zealand, probably about 2-3 months away all going well. Engine and trans will be going in in a couple of weeks, then ready for dissassembly and off to the paint shop - guess I better decide on a colour

I've had mine registered for four years now.... originally slapped it together to beat the emmissions laws; then disassembled the whole thing and started again. Reassembled for rego (for gas ) then told I have the three year grace ! Three years later I have to plead on bended knee to get the car re-rego'd whilst in a pile of parts....The rego man is a car nut ! I'm legal again.
I was supposed to have it on the road by december but you can't plan life....death calls when your not ready. I have decided that the car will be on the road ...as I tell everyone... when it's finished. Don't hold your breath !

Blair,

Make that eleven new Cobra`s

Plan to have the car complete & ready for rego by June.

I`ve got all the parts, just need to find the time
to get them on the car.

Upholstery is booked for March, seems I need to
have some deadlines or nothing gets done.

Can`t wait to get those BAD ASP plates on the car.

Regards

Nick

Here is number 12.

A bit of white paint to cover up the gray spots, hydraulic systems finished, finish of those little jobs and the upholsterer starts Monday(I hope).

Engineered by march.

Make mine a hopeful and lucky number 13. Thats if I get a chance to work on it. Hoping for mid year rego with no paint.

I've had number plates for over a year so its time to screw them to
something.

Dale.

Expect to go for final engineering in the next month or 2. Have commenced final build. Initial build to 80% didn't include lights, pipes & hoses. Now also reworking some bits I didn't like first time around.

This pic shows it prior to initial engineeering inspection (chassis, suspension, seat belt anchorages etc.)
