Wasting your time
I apologise in advance
the camera work is crappy
the resolution is very low
it takes 5meg of your valuable download allocation
and 3:46 of your life to watch
its 1min on how to build a cobra and 2mins of me trying to capture a lap at winton during the shake out
dont look
also - I haven't figured out how to embed a video

I liked it too. I like the track as well (lots of run off - just in case). Music didn't suck either. Have fun.

Yeppers....I liked it.
The only thing that worried me was the fella who was putting it together. . Think I've seen that face on a wanted poster.

Well done mate!!! The best part was driving the bare bones chassis on the dirt road. I could just 'feel' the thrill of that first ride and it sure brought back some memories of 'my first time'.

Michael
Bloody excellent irrespective of the quality and typo at the end.
But it worries me that the celica you were chasing wasn't being caught too fast, I do remember your previous post description of driving skills or was it the big block stuffed in that little car that was causing you some grief??
Just kidding of course and who cares anyway, I too am envious and can't wait to try a hot lap myself.
Keep on tinkering.
Oh and by the way got any club events you can go to yet?
Cheers
Steve

you are all very kind, thankyou.
my first go at that sort of thing
slowy - the Celica is my nephew, I'll get him to come to ShelbyFest Stephen and you can show him how its done
The day was mostly to check out the car and any issues - big one is cooling, although it was over 30c - will try shrouding the radiator.
I think the power could be better too - measured the gross cam lift and have .425 on inlet which is about standard, so in a 289 I expect thats only going to get me a couple of hundred hp if everything else is in top shape - will address the power later - doing my sums on fix/replace etc.
