Les,

I have an idea... Let's start a Club Cobra counseling service. We could accept suitable payments via PayPal and dispense wisdom through cyberspace.

I have a bunch of old cereal packets we can borrow sage advice from, just cut and paste.

maybe it will cover some of the Cobra costs

What do you think!!

Back on topic.....Ahem

You might also want to try some of the interstate manufacturers. Wont make much difference where it comes from if its a turn key.

DRB(via gt40 australia), Harrison, Gforce........what are the other ones guys?

Quite right, he was the first in Vic to install a Ford quad cam, but I understand it was a 4.6ltr not a Boss 5.4. The 4.6 has a shorter deck height compared to the Boss, bit like comparing a 302 to a 351 block.

The first 5.4 Boss Quad cammer was installed into a RCM about a year ago and was registered a few months ago.

Hi all

Laurie had a customer at the Picnic at Hanging Rock who had the quad cam in his car. It was still in grey primer and may be the same car.

The owner had built the car with Lauries help along the way. There were a few other guys there who had built cars with or at Lauries.

I guess he is selling kits and working with the owners to finish their cars.

Laurie also has a lot of parts and accessories.

He may be worth talking to as he is based in Victoria - details above.

I also saw a Quad cam with a little puffer on it when over at Doug's a few months back. So yes Doug is another good option in Victoria. Doug has many of the parts and access to all of the accessories as well.

Visit both and see what they are up to and how they can assist. I know you will get a lot of good advice from both guys...

... Mmm the hardest thing will be working out what colour to paint it..
