A pic of cobra at lakeside in the mid 60's included in Lakeside media release.

Great track, will be fantastic when it re-opens.

Strict noise restrictions eh!. Counts me out and I would think a few other Cobra's as well

Heard on the grapevine is was happening, great to see it in print.

Be interesting to see how it fits in with our club racing. We might do a club day there or something, depending on pricing.

I doubt the noise restrictions will be a drama for the cars in QLD club, they are all street driven and even though noisy, are relatively quiet compared to most track only cars. Well I know my brother will have no trouble, you can't even hear him coming.

For those not familiar ( or too young ) with this track can look at a great gallery of past events including an aerial of the track itself.

I have fond memories of this place. A small fortune of my various car bits are strewn around this track.

Talking noise not a problem

the best muffler in the world is a turbo it not only makes your car quiet it make heaps of horse power too.
if anyone asks its not a turbo its a thermodynamic muffler.
