Hey there SideShow.
I am looking for a supplier of LS1 cam and crank sensor plugs with terminals.
Can you supply them?

Here is the car they are needed as spares for.

Although you cant see it there is a GenIII infront of the gearbox.
He has lengthened the wheel base and put the motor infront of the box to gain a better weight distribution.

This is the same guy who has done the wiring on my Cobra.

These pics are from Hyden in Western Australia, it was the first round of the Australian titles.
The car is the same one he has used for the past couple of years (was Australian class 2 champ in 2005)
He has lengthened the rear arms and the front arms (wider footprint) and fitted the engine infront of the gearbox.
He was going to use 2007 as a test year for the car and go for the class 1 (pro class) title next year.
Well the car is more competitive than he initially thought. He was leading the race at Hyden (round 1) when he had a cv failure on what I think was the second last lap.
The fault turned out to be too much droop in the rear arms when airborne, causing the cv's to bottom out in there cages.
This has now been fixed and he said he will give the title a nudge this year.
I think he has also just now upgraded the shocks.

The next race is Finke (Alice Springs) and it is on the Queens birthday weekend (which up here is June 9 - 10 & 11).
I will be camping at the KTM bikes first fuel stop (about 80 -90 kls down the track)
I will get some pics and show everyone.
It should be cold as we have had a temp drop of what feels about 15 -20 degrees in the past week.

prob take 2 weeks to get

and i need money before i order due to the fact these are not a part i can offload pretty fast and hard to return

I will let him know, but I doubt he is after a loom.
He is a sparky by trade and his car uses a motec system.
He uses the motec so he can use the lcd dash display

Do yo know where he has arranged for his fuel stops?

I am camping with the guys at the first (heading south) KTM fuel stop, about 80kls from the start line (or 80kls from the finish line headed home).

I might see him at the scrutineering on Friday night.

I wish all the bike and quad guys luck, be damned if you could get me to do it.
240 plus kls each way in less than 2 hours for the fast guys.
Some of the track is about 8 ft wide, other sections are what is refered to as the road section, (old south road) they go flat out on that part, and other sections called "The whoops" continues roller coaster up and down with about 10 ft between troughs and tops, all about 20 ft apart.
When I say continues i mean some sections are 40 -60 kls long of up and down.
Here is a pic sowing a part of the whoops where they arent as deep but they are closer together.

Heya Boxhead,

from what he was saying i think he paid to get someone to fill him up at the prescribed fuel stops.
I am with you i could never do that it would take you a week just to get body control back but Aaron's young and keen i think there is a group of 5 other quads there he is riding with
they are getting there a few days before just too check the track out
hopefully he can get some footage of the race it would be great viewing

cheers
jess

Sideshow,

I'll be chasing a few parts (VY Holden loom plugs) soon, in particular I need the plug for the Fuel pump/sender unit (VY).

Are these plugs readily available from Holden, or would I need to get them through you???

the fuel pump and sender unit wiring is a small extension loom

u can buy it from holden and just cut one end off

but remember there is an early and a late loom

one has 4 wire aall in one line

other has 4 wires 2 ontop of 2

i have the 2 ontop of 2 wires here but not the 4 in a row

but ill get a price from holden for both anyway
