Default Almost finished!

Hi all,

Interior trim is finished, (aplogies to all of those who believe that black is all you need), I have always wanted this car to be a street cruiser, not a race car so I deliberately gone for contrasting trim and light colours. I only have to have the glass fitted in the windscreen and a couple of minor items. Then its wheel alignment and the engineering inspection. I had the exhaust noise level checked and its 82DBi, so I am OK there. After that I just have to get into the queue at the local licensing centre.

cheers

Ross

Cheers

Ross

Ross

What colour have you used on your dash?

Is it stained, veneer or something else?

Cheers

Steve

Hi Steve,

The dash is covered with Walnut veneer, the veneer was a single sheet that is about 1mm thick. I bought it from a local speciality timber dealer, it is stuck on with contact adhesive and has a couple of coats of automotive laquer to protect it.

Cheers

Ross

Thanks Ross

Your dash does look excellent!

The mode of application and colour are exactly what I was planning to do without the visual end result that you have now supplied. The colour impressed the boss as well so its all go.

Cheers and thanks
