G'day Mike,
I was going to use Colin too but he has also not returned my calls. I have subsequently found out that a family issue has been affecting his work. However, returning a phone call is not hard to do. Colin had engineered RCM's before when he was at Enklemans but now he is on his own he doesn't have the paperwork on the RCM chassis available. So for both reasons I'm using someone else.

Cheers

beejay, pipes have been fixed however I will be building a new set shortly, haven't had anytime to work on mine as I have been building a GT40 for a client. The weather isn't the best either so hopefully they will be done once the it turns good. How far have you got with yours?

Hi Kanga, give me a call and drop over if you like. It'd be good to catch up.

Rod, I might have to pop in and say hello when I drop my car off. I'll give you a call.

I've been speaking to the enginner and he tels me I need to organise an engine number as I'm using a crate motor. I rang Vic Roads and they tell me I need to bring the car down with the engine in for them to inspect it. I've then got to take it to the police for them to inspect it. I think I'll be doing that on Monday or Tuesday prior to dropping the car in to the engineer.

I had a reasonably productive weekend on the car. It's now back in stealth mode with the under body system on and the LS6 manifold. The suspension is wound up and I've got 4 1/2" clearance under the lowest point.

I'm working on the electricals at the moment. The headlights and indicators aren't finished yet. The list of things on the white board is getting shorter. I've taken next Monday and Tuesday off work to try and get it finished.

Cheers

Gee it didn't take long from first starting the engine to "nearly ready for rego". Good on you Mike, can't wait to see it with number plates.....

Mike the engine number sounds like it might hold you up a bit, I think that some on the forum have had the engine fairies come to their address overnight and a number appears on it, funny it is the same number that is on the reciept of purchase. Trust me the biggest hold up you have is going to be with the police, its something that wouldn't get done in the same day, let me know if you choose to go this way and have trouble.

Good luck for tomorrow.

Good Luck Mike.

But you don't need it.

If your first run is anything to go by you have nothing to worry about.
