Ok lesson learned!

Back onto the original topic, which Finish Line cap/base have people gone with? There's three caps (standard, locking, and 2" base all for $155) and a couple of bases separate. I will email them regarding price but I'm interested to hear which combination of cap/base is most suitable for our cars. Perhaps unleaded pumps are the same around the world, I dunno...?

I was looking at the locking one from finishline as well. I can't see why this would not be ok in Australia with a sticker on the top saying unleaded fuel only. A bit of a silly requirment now, leaded fuel is not available anyway.

The only other thing I can think of is the anti syphon flap and the nozzle diameter. The old leaded fuel nozzles were a bigger diameter so they would not fit in an unleaded filler.

I was just going to use a poor quality sticker that peels off easy.

The only thing I would question is the base. If you look on the Python site here in Melbourne:
http://python.au.com/main%20home.htm

...you'll see that his billet adapter looks very similar to the 2" cap base from Finishline:
http://www.finishlineaccessories.com...products_id=57

Compare that to the open base cap from Finishline and you'll see how it doesn't taper in towards the bottom.

Can anyone verify which base is the correct one for Australian pumps?

Sambo, Should be 5 pics in total.
They are pretty large so you can see what's involved.

Cheers

Yeah that's where I'm looking Bernie. The problem is they've got several caps and several bases (diff designs/diameters) and I don't want to have to send one back to the States - or end up with an expensive paper weight!
