Everytime I see that CANDY RED (or whatever it is) my mouth waters! That Cobra is going to get some attention and I hope everytime it does you are proud.

GREAT paint job, GREAT look, WELL DONE...but I have to reiterate the earlier comment..."How is it going to feel having the passenger driving the car?"

Ross

Beaut. Love the colour. Is it Candy Apple Red? If so I understand there are different red base colours which can be used - is this so?

Congratulations Ross...

Being in Perth, I'd love to see your car once you've got the plates on it and you can driver her around...maybe a few of the Perth forum members may like to meet at a convenient "water hole" to Christen her?

The colour is PPG Hellfire Red (one shade darker than Candy Apple), it is on a neutral base of black. The colour base is 4 coats of orange and then 8 of red.
I love the way it changes colour from light to dark.

Lets hope the weather improves by the time the plates are on, I have been told that the new system in WA can take 8 weeks to process the paperwork before DPI invites you in for an inspection.

On my first meeting with the engineer he told me that the final approval "may" take up to six weeks, but he reckons you'll normally be driving it within two weeks.

A "meeting" (codeword for we'll drool on your new car) would be a great idea. Let us all know when the plates are on...
