Weigh Bridge - Melbourne South/East
Hi All,
I have just become a member, as I have had a LRB Cobra for a couple of years now and wont to get it finished. Have seen the engineer and have not to bad list. Need to get it weighed, can anyone help as to where I can get this done. Have seen one out Kilsyth way but don't have a name or anything.
Thanks in advance.
Andrew.

Sorry I can't help with the weigh bridge Darren, but can you tell me what an 'LRB' is? Little River Band is the only thing that comes to mind! Did you mean to type 'DRB'?

LRB is a RCM. It's the kit builder's initials which are stamped into the rear panel behind the seats.
Edit: spelling

Do you need a documented figure for the engineer?
If not, the local dump has a free weighing facility if you ask nicely.
Most race tracks also have weighing equipment.
Won't be hard to find, I would start by asking the suspension mobs near you. They might even corner weight it for you.

Andrew
The regional landfill at the cnr of Clayton and Deals Rds. could provide a tareweight docket, but might/might not cost you for the pleasure. Not sure how hung up they are these days on freebies as the services are provided under contract to the Council owners, worth a call anyway.
Contact number is 9558 0112 and ask to speak with Jack. I think he is on Thursdays through Sundays so getting there on a weekend would be perfect.
Cheers

Andrew
You will find a list of public weigh bridge,s in the Melways street directory.
In the 2007 edition it is on page 586.
Cost of weighing is usually about 10 bucks.
