LS engine mounts
Thought this info would be helpful to those putting LS series engines into cobras. More so for those putting LS's into earlier chassis made for Ford power.
The standard holden/chev engine mount donuts are 70+ mm in height. In my case this was a bit too high and I needed something lower.
Maybe you want to lower your engine in the chassis.
Dallow have two engine mount donuts available that are 70mm tower width
(diameter), and 40 or 45 mm. high.
They also have a corvette one which is 50mm tower width and 55mm high.
According to Jeff Dallow they are extremely strong, made for V8's, but more solid than the standard holden units which allow a little too much engine movement in the chassis.
Check out the dallow cataloque on their site.
