I Love Jet Noise
I had the pleasure of taking Burnie from MT. G for a blast last week.
He had travelled well out of his way and called down to my work to drop off a heap of Mags to me, and he also gave me some advice on my build.
It was a pleasure to meet him and from what I'm told, it will be a pleasure to meet a heap of you guys at the nationals.
I look forward to the opportunity to meet you guy's and to hear your suggestions on the build.
Cheers for now.

Hello Rob,
Unfortunately, over the last 20 years of racing both dirt bikes and superbikes, I have sustained enough injuries that you would think that I was in a Train Crash.
I have managed to not only break my back, but have also collected an assortment of metal in every limb.
After 8 operations, 8 months in hospital, 8 months in wheelchairs and the threat of never flying again, I am resolved to the fact that I had better change over to 4 wheels, but I'll still race you to the car.
The AVTAR is a picture of our Eurocopter EC120B flying around the 12 Apostles on the Great Ocean Road.
If you go to www.12ah.com it will make it easier to grasp the picture.
I really appreciated Burnie going out of his way to come down and drop some mags to me and it sounds like the group of people associated with the Cobras is very similar to the Superbikes.
If anyone is heading to the 12 Apostles at any time drop in for a coffee.
I look forward to meeting you sometime.
Cheers
Ian

I too was curious about the avatar thanks for the link.
Despite the cobra, I'd still like to get a weekend toy bike too, so I better not show the wife your response above or that will be the end of that.
I'm sure we'll do a Melb - Warnambool drive on the GOR when mobile, so I will catch up for a coffee eventually.
Cheers

Rebel1,
I'm not sure if I would call them biblical, Pre 1954 the rock stacks were called the sow and the piglets. However, I do have a very religious young pilot who keeps calling the rock stack that fell in 2005, Judas.
During his flights I've warned him to steer away from religion, politics and attractive young foreign women as sooner or later these conversations will end up with tears. No wonder they call it taking them through their tender years!
Stephen,
If I had enough body left I would be on a bike again today, but remember that even normal bitumen feel like freshly laid hot mix as you slide over it at 200 kph on your butt.
If you head down our way, it would be a pleasure to catch up and show you around.
Richard,
I'm up for any deal that doesn't include GST.
Cheers
Ian

Train Crash
Ian,
Good to catch up and take that low level flight along the 12 Apostles.
I can certainly recomend it.
Now a trip down the Great Ocean Road to the 12 Apostles and helicopter flight and then onto Weekend at Bernie's....
Now that would be one religious experience..

Bryan
Ian tells a funny story about the two people who were left stranded on the rock when the link fell - London bridge.
Appears their respective partners both watched them on TV news that night.
Mmm so much for that affair being secret..

Kill the Bastard
It's funny, about twice a year my wife comes to work and grabs a spare seat on a tour.
When I say about the two left stranded on London Bridge, she says "Kill The Bastard" the international tourists just stare at her, they don't get it.
I'm just glad to be back on the ground today, the fellow above tried to light me up.
Was T.C., now to be known as SPARKY.
If your in Geelong or Melbourne, batten down the hatches, it's coming.
Cheers
T.C.
