Using the AU diff, I would suggest using a KAAZ centre in them, they are tough as nails and won't break, that is mnot to say that the axles wont give way. we have put them in cars with 350 to 370 rwkw, mostly VZ commodores which are both charged and normally aspirated. see
www.kaazusa.com (cant get the link to work.)
I noticed the LS7 in there, looks great, are you running the dry sump combo? How are you going to get it through rego, the exhaust manifolds are a dead give away!. That engine is a work of art and with 427 cubes it has a nice touch to it..

It certily is a nice engine. MVR left it upto the engineer to decide if the CR chassis will take the LS7, Ian engineers them for 800hp so everyone is happy.
Iam running the GM tank. Had to make up new lines as the GM lines wouldnt work.

Lucky you, from what I believe down here in vic you would have to have an emissions test to have the motor comply with euro 3 regs. Which is costly. As that motor has not come out in a production vehicle in Australia, there is nothing to use as a guide. however i may be wrong as I think that the Z06 corvette uses the same motor and there are a few around here.
there is no dramas with the chassis, it will handle it easy, great news if you can use those motors.

The LS7 comes out in the ZO6 and is a 2007 engine so MVR are happy so long as I use the emission gear. I only have to meet ADR37/01 which makes it easier.

Corvette connections in QLD import and convert to RHD. So they are ADR complient, plus they are very helpfull with info. So long as you can prove the engine comes out in factory installs MVR are happy, After all up you have to comply with the INTENT of the ADRs ie all new alloy EFI runs ulp etc MVR see that as compling with the INTENT of the ADRs.

My two cents worth......I have the Kaaz centre in the Street Cobra....I don't have HUGE R.W.H.P. ( 360 "ish" ), but it feels strong, and takes PLENTY.

Warren.

Bloody Ford diffs.
I broke mine just going to the shops. It hadn't even done a wheelie.
The only Ford part in the car and it let me down. Must have been scared of the LS1 I guess, Alfie yours will s--t itself before your car even starts!!

Thanks Alffie, you pic skills are 'way' in front of mine. That is a Holden BTR in the pic beside it, Half Shaft flanges are about 1.500" wider than the BTR & Driveshaft U-Joint center would be in virtually the same position as the Holden U-Joint given that the flange would be approx 1.500" rearwards from c/l of U-joint. There are a couple of other pics from different angles in my gallery.
