Terrible new Bryan - Like many here when the desease first stuck (cobra desease) and I googled "AC cobra", your web site was one of the first in the list. Hopefully you will recover fully (number 1) and get back behind the wheel (number 2) in no time.

Best of luck.

Cheers

I've heard good results from eye exercises too.
Here's to a speedy recovery mate!
That car is too beautiful not to be on the road.

Bryan,
Sorry to hear.

My dad had a stroke about 12 months ago. It was severe enough that he had troubles with his left side - trouble seeing, coordination and the like.

He did have to go through some therapy which took about 3 months but he is as good as new now and back behind the wheel.

It will seem forever but it wont be long and you will be driving again, I'm sure.

Good luck.

My mother has a standing weekly appointment to get her hair done at the Beauty Shop. About 3 years ago she was walking down a narrow hallway to the rear of the shop to get a soda out of the refrigerator and was overcome by the nauseaus (SP?) horrible odors emited by all the chemicals and such used in these places (I don't know how women can stand coloring their hair?). She said she woke up with several of the employees and the ambulance crew kneeling over her. She had simply fainted, with no medical issues at all. The medical doctor at the hospital (they forced her to go) snatched her license and she had to go to the local DMV office for a personal interview with one of the DMV personell before she could get her license back. In reality I think it was a good idea that they took the precautions, because it certainly could have been more serious.

Bryan I hope your outcome is similar, good luck.

Time is a great healer Brian.

It doesn't help you now, but in a few months and you'll hopefully be up and running again.

Reminder to all - Health comes first

Take care.

A family friend back in 2001 lost her license after a stroke. It took about a year, but she got it back.
Her health is now back to 100%.

Keep you head up Bryan and stay positive.

We'll reserve the famous 66 at the Shelby Fest until your return.

Default Vision defect

Bernie,
I saw my GP. the other day and he gave me a referal to the eye specialist to check eyes every three months to see if there is a trend toward improvement so I can apply for my licence back as without a licence I can't work as I need a Vehicle to get to work and move from one job to another as I am a sparky.
Cheers,
Bryan
