First Drive
Well after a frustrating few weeks it finally started, (actually more frustrating for the Marty who has been doing the wiring not for me.)
Thanks heaps to Aussie Mike and to Leeroy for letting me steal things of his car to make sure we had done things correctly.
Well yesterday was the day, most of the day spent making sure everything was right, the time had come for the first drive.
Well the car is at my work so fortunatley factory estates are very quite on the weekends.
So out we go, take off nice and slowly up the road, check brakes they work, steering yes it turns where it should, few more checks. Okay whats all the fuss about, well then I put the boot into it now I know what all the fuss is about.
Time to put it away, jump into the car (landcrusier) to come home and felt like I was travelling at snails pace.
Back to work on it today to finish a few more things. Off to engineering in a week and bit so hopefully it won't long until I can drive it all the time.
Rod
PS: Will try and load some pictures this week.
