I just can't pass on my congratulations too many times on this.
You've picked up one great Cobra in my books.
Enjoy.
(I've also been busy on my Cobra, will also have to post some picks once I get it back onto it's wheels.)

Wow Bernies car (now officialy known as Trevs car) sure is a good looking car.
I am sure there will be plenty of trips to the shops needed.
Your more than welcome to come and buy your milk from out here, if you do, just turn left at the showgrounds, follow the road for about 5kls then turn right, give the car a big rev and I will hear you coming.
I will meet you out front and I can then show you where the shops are.

I guess some cows just don't like getting their pictures taken.

Congrats Trev,
It is a great looking Cobra, I love the diagonal stripes and would like to see more cars with them. When you got it licensed in Perth were there any queries about the quick lift jacks? Also, the holes in the back pan under the boot, are they battery hook terminals?
I am looking forward to seeing your new Cobra, there is a meeting/BBQ next Wednesday, with a talk by a couple of gas installers about gas for Cobra's.
Cheers,
Harry.

Harrymac
Just chimming in here.
Yes the two terminals are for the battery - jump charge or charge point. I did not have them hooked to the battery when it went to Perth.
They are available from Summit for about $20 the pair.
You can see them a little better in this photo.
See www.summitracing.com
I was sorry to see it go, but swapped it for the GT40 with Dave. I mentioned to Dave that I had been talking to Trev and he did the deal locally.
Trev has been driving and polishing then polishing and driving. It needed that..

Hi Bernie,
I have had a set of those terminals for years, but couldn't think as to where to fit them, but your idea is excellent. Looking at your boot, with all that alloy, it was a wise move. Can you imagine the consequences of someone carelessly helping you with his battery cables. OUCH!!!.
It is a nice Cobra Bernie and now the GT40, half your luck, some people don't have to die to live in heaven.
Cheers,
Harry.

Congratulations Trev, you've got a real nice Cobra there.
I've done a bit of work on Bernies old Cobra and I love the stance of this car. At the Gelong all Ford day parked amongst a bunch of other Cobras people kept coming up and and asking Bernie "is it a real one?" I think Bernie has built a nice retro racer look car.
Here it is sitting in my back yard. I really like this shot.
Cheers

Aussie Mike
Mike
I forgot about those couple of photos from the exhaust fitting days.
Yes I'm a little sorry to have let it go but I'm restricted for garage space now that Todd is talking about re building his car.

I acually have a fair bit of travel in that fine car as a passenger. I got to say
the performance was awesome.
Mate, you have a fine ride there and I know you will enjoy it more and more.
