Victorian Hot Rod Show
Welcome to the Victorian Hot Rod Association
I haven't been to this show before. Do you think there will be any Cobra entrants?

There was a cobra there last year I am told.
I'll be going this time as a mate has entered his almost finished hot rod.
He calls his a street car but it will put some of the show cars to shame in terms of details.
Cheers

Hi Paul,
I was checking that site out earlier tonight and noticed some pics of a Cobra on the gallery from 2007. I think I'll head in there over the weekend too, so fingers crossed for a Cobra or two again this year.

There were 4 Cobras there (or at least that's how many I found), including 1 purpose built for racing (I guess they all are ).
Forgot my proper camera, but if anyone's interested in seeing some pics from my phone cam.....
Went back later to watch a movie at IMAX, which is next door to the Exhibition building, and was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of one of them leaving the building...... a little bit sidewards......

Ok Sambo. Done. Pics are in my gallery now.
Slowy, which car was your mate's? Don't suppose I've managed to capture any shots of his?

Buddy
My mate's car was a black 34 Chev (fake plates Bow Tie Affair) located mid section left wall beside a purple something from Fantan Rods and a red something else with a lovely original EJ or EH on his other side in an adjacent corner.
Just looked at your gallery and the first pic from the back of the python shows you the middle alcove area under the main dome, he was in there against the outside wall.
Haven't heard from him so I guess no trophies coming from his first showing, but I was mighty impressed by his car. It's been 20 + years in the building, dragged through numerous flats and garages, through marriage and divorce, with a small block chev he had built whilst we were still teenagers (even longer ago) - it was originally destined for a show panel van he had.
So I have to salute his percervierence.

Thanks Ryan! Looks like a Python from Sth Melbourne and our very own REPTYL snuck in for a show. Not sure about the other ones.
