Default Its registerd

Well its finally registerd and on the road.

After reading all the horror stories about engineering and registration, I had a very easy run.

No problems what so ever at engineering, I can not recomend Enklemans highly enough. Bernie was very easy to get along with and was realistic about things.

Registration, my biggest fear was over and done in 5 minutes. The Vicroads inspector can out looked at the Vin number and engine number and that was that. We went back inside and completed the paperwork, the process was over in 15 minutes.

It still needs to be painted but that can wait.

Now its time to go and have some fun.

Rod

Huge congrats.

I would say a fair reason for things going easy would be the quality of build you achieved and preparation you did for compliance & registration.

Can't wait to see some photos.

Thanks guys

Now the rush is on to finish the last few things for the Shelby Fest.

Theres only a couple of things but they are pretty important like a working water temperature and oil pressure gauge, wheel alingment and getting the fuel pressure right.

But as we all know the best way to get things done is to have a deadline to finish things by.

Looking forward to meeting everybody at the Shelby Fest.

Rod

P.S I was the bugger that took the last room at the Gateway Motel

Rod

Well done on getting your car on the road and you're right a deadline always gives one incentive.

Not sure of the timing but Rod may have aquired my room which I've had to relinquish, if not there is one more room left.

Sadly a quick test drive Saturday saw me have to dodge an errant driver on a round about that left me in a short slow speed slide head first into a pole.

Both radiators look like U bends, shredded the nose back to the bonnet but most importantly have slightly bent a lower chassis member that connects to the lower suspension arm. I'm going to need professional help.

Thank God for insurance but all that work stopped in an instant. What a bastard.

Anyway sent the motel an email indicating I'm out, so if anyone is chasing a room there is probably still one left.

Cheers
