I think for Australia they need to be ADR approved for collapsing in the event of an accident. Typically we use donor cars for that reason. Flaming river uni joints seem to be OK though.

Gentleman. I got a MGB rack and pinion and I like to know where I can purchase a adapter /joiner to a Jaguar Series 3 tie rod end

I got adapters machined up from 4140 stock (for memory) Tapped each side for different threads.

My machinist had BSF taps to match yearly UK threads, I am no expert on this but I would check this closely.
