Talking Australian Test Drive

Man, you guys know how to test drive a car before buying it. That is as good as the guy here in New York a few years ago that took a Ferrari on a test drive except they never did recover it. Now I know how I am going to make my trip this Summer.

Default Question Mark??????????????????????

Ron,

I know that we're a bit slow 'Down Under', but just between you and me, would you please answer this very personal question so we will all be a little bit wiser.

Have you been drinking the odd glass of moonshine, eating slightly under cooked crawdads or smokin that green tobaccie?

Maybe you've been a really bad boy and took part in one of those way out Star Wars Convention Meetings where everyone gets dressed up to resemble & live the life of their favourite galactic character?

On the other hand, if your motherboard hasn't been completely infected by the dreaded virus of hallucination, then please 'widen' our minds and let us in on the big secret.

What in the bloody hell are you talking about?

Baz

Talking

Get with the program guys -- I think he's referring to a news report of some dude who took a car for a "test" drive from Melbourne and was caught out in Alice Springs when he ran out of petrol money

You are all correct. This is embarrassing. I had the link and forgot to include it in the post. Just remember I am older than all of you if you added your ages together so I am allowed a certain amount of Ancient Moments.

Thanks Ron,

Now I know what your talking about. It didn't make much sense without the link.

Don't worry about the forgetfulness. I know exactly what your referring to.

Take care and keep well.

Regards Baz.

Baz,

I have had to go back a couple of times after a post and edit to put the link in, but I just flat missed this one. Sorry about the confusion and I can certainly see why it would make you wonder what I was talking about.

Glad to see the reliable NT coppers caught the guy, even though I am sure the car yard reported it to the Melbourne coppers, but they must have been busy watching underbelly.
