Custom Kitcar Magazine will feature my build.
The first edition of Custom Kitcar magazine will shortly be on sale in all major newsagents. It will be published every 2 months.
I have been in touch with Robert Jacobs, the editor of that Mag., and he has offered to run a progressive article on the construction of my Cobra from start to finish.
The initial article will be appearing in the second edition which will be published in either May or June this year and then bi-monthly until the car is completed.
Should make for good reading and a great history lesson for my grandson when he inherits the Cobra after I move on.
Baz.

Got to look after those grandsons.
I think Custom Kitcar will be a fantastic magazine, I have certainly been getting the word out about it and doing everything I can to support it. I met Robert at the Nationals and he is a great bloke, an enthusiast and a Cobra owner, what more could you ask for.
Congrats Baz, I will be looking forward to reading the articles on your build.
Can't wait to check out the first edition. Although sounds like the 2nd edition maybe even better.

Mando,
I checked out your Gallery. You've done a great job of documenting your build too. A big well done back to you.

Hey, well done Baz.
And good to see kitcar mags back, or are they still around but we can't get them in the stix? Either way, I hope the mag relies partly on advertising for funding, it will be good to compare parts and competitive prices.
I look forward to getting a copy, if it doesnt surface at the shops here I might subscribe.

Hey Outwest34au,
The editor is Robert Jacob and he's a real nice bloke. If you can't get the Magazine at5 your local Newsagents, email him on either:
customkitcar@bigpond.au or
Robert.Jacobs@tafesa.edu.au
and he will ensure you receive a regular copy.
His telephone No. is 0417842396 and the postal address for the Magazine is
P.O. Box 137 Blackwood, 5051, South Australia.
Good Luck,
Baz.

They are releasing a web site when the first editon hits the shelves.
You will be able to subscribe to the mag directly through the web site.
I did a bit of research and the web site will be:
www.customkitcar.com.au

Thanks Baz. I took special interest in this magazine after meeting Robert & Chris at the Nationals. I knew it would be great for our hobby.
And that was well before I thought I would be an advertiser in it.

Received Issue 1 of Custom Kitcar this morning.
Looks good, nicely balanced articles. Good to read an Aussie mag than the imported fodder.
Cheers

Received my copy yesterday. Ninety pages of high quality articles printed on glossy, high quality paper. Have read it from cover to cover already. Looking forward to Issue 2 in 8 weeks time.

Got my magazine the other day. Its very similar to the UK version of Kitcars.
The magazine is as good as anything else you can buy out there if not better. Its great to see people you know and cars you recognise in the magazine.
Regards.

Just picked up a copy from my local Mag shop. Looks good so far. I'm keen to see how the new publication develops. Should be good for the hobby all round.
Cheers

I finally got myself a copy of the Australian KitCar mag.
I like the look and layout and it seems to be a quality production.
Good to see a couple of technical articles in there as well.
Might send the guy a note on editorial policy viz describing cars in terms of their authenticity.
Otherwise I'm temped to subscribe.
