Cobra Symbol Stitched
Hi Guys
I am looking for a picture of the cobra symbol stitched into leather for a seat head rest. I need to show the wife what it could look like before I get it done.
Thanks
Bruce

Bruce,
They are stitched into the middle of RX7 series 6 seats.
The only ones I could find, at the time, that would fit.
500mm or less
Regards
Nick

Hi Bruce,
I once took two leather seat panel to a few embroidery shops to have a name sewn into them, I was warned by all of them not to do it as it puts to many holes in the leather and weakens it, particularly if I was planning to sit on it. They all recommended making a patch and sewing that on.
I have heard the same thing many times over the years.
Cheers,
Harry.

Thanks guys for the drawings, I am thinkig of putting it in the head rests but the boss hates the idea.
Hi PCC
I pick the car up from upholstery shop on Thursday. Put my new wheels tyres on Friday and then go for a drive. I just got to work out how to fit in the bloody thing now!!! then finish fuel lines off properly then engineer here I come.
I want to get my hands on the MIGHTY Cleveland car show trophy. I think people should only enter if the car is made in the Cleveland Area what do you think . Hope you have taken good care of the trophy as I have already made the shelf put it on in my living room.

Bruce, the Cobra symbol also looks good on the door trims. That's where we put it on our old blue Cobra.

Bruce,
One more time and then I'll retire!!
And I agree, Cleveland area only. Did present a problem when Mr Gillis took part (Car of the show)!!!
Oh and about the logo - who needs a logo when you have the "real" thing?

Pete, you just need to name the date. I want to drive everywhere in the Cobra for the next few years so I can test out Harrymac`s theory about to many holes in the leather
