Not Ranked
With the Avons we tried many temp variants based on input from folks who use them. From 24-34 lbs hot and cold in 2 lb increments. We found the best to be around 32-34 hot. Wear and heat were even, tyres were getting to temp. Temp on the day was variable, with dry a few showers and then a dry track, avg would have been around 25c.
I have fully adjustable bump and re-bound on the shocks, 12 adjustments on rebound and 10 on bump. We also moved these around, but in general came in with rebound around the 8 mark and bump quite soft to allow weight transfer.
We also ran with the sway bar tight and loose.
So lot's of variables, lots of playing around on the practice day. Of course only one adjustment at a time and using the start data from the previous year.
As all of this is specific to my car and it's configuration (and driving style), don't depend on it for your set-up. But that's what we did.
For a great street tyre, sure, I would recommend them in a heartbeat.
Regards
Cameron
