Dear Mr Spookmeister,
As I now live in the Exotic East, I have come to respect the concept of Karma, in particular as it relates to an unnamed Silver cobra with an off the shelf crate engine that has had it's neck wrung for going on 5 years.
I wish to bestow warm feelings of strength and longevity of internal combustion upon the Waz Blocks.. for fear I might pull the pin on my own grenade..
However, that being said.... SCARY , I'll be locking all the doors.

Cam .....you are most kind....
If....er .... WHEN I finally lose it , and start taking everyone out....( I see a water tower...a high powered rifle....big scope..that sort of thing !!)....
I'll leave you until last as a reward for your kindness.
Anyway spook....I should wait until you get that new monster all up and running, before you wish any bad luck upon yourself.
AND....
How can we set the stage for a healthy "State against State" competition with these hurtful and personal attacks on someone, who...if you're honest with your true feelings...you consider to be a GOD !!!

Not sure which "bit" you are asking about.
Spook thinking I'm a God ??.....He's only human !
"State against State " competition ??.........
It's clear at presentation night that the states are quite proud of their own when it comes to achieving results.
This is how it should be, and always will be.......
Go QUEENSLAND !!!!
How else would I get 50 people so exited about spending a week on the road for the Nationals.
Very much a part of it is that they feel like they are representing their state at the Nationals.
Of course they love the chance to see all of the magnificent vehicles, and meet all the terrific members from the other states, but LOVE it when they do well in any of the competitions.
Nothing wrong with that is there ??
Regards,
Warren

Awwww Wazza...forever the diplomat.
Why don't you just tell it like it is and say the cane toads just love to beat the tripe out of the cockroaches.
It's the automotive version of State of Origin .... doesn't matter about trophies .... it's all about beating the cockroaches.

Bloody Queenslanders
Not that I am taking it seriously, but I had another practice day at Wakefield yesterday, did about 50 laps, 20 with no one else on the track.
I think the air temp of 6 deg kept most of them away.
Getting quicker boys, car feels great
Phil

Don't bend that gorgeous car Phil...trying to kill a few poor old Cane toads.
Sounds like Phil is on a bit of a mission.....all that practice should certainly help.

Good way of doing it Phil...
You're time last year was brilliant, and you're right ...That bloody Gary Sims' time of around 1m 08 seconds is bloody fast, but I'm sure you'll go close this year.
I'm just glad he's found his way "home" to become one of the QUEENSLANDERS.

State Title
Wazza,
fun idea. How about a perpetual State trophy, to taken home by the victors for the year.
Points scoring needs to be simple but fair to those who do not have the volume of cars. So a performance/representation style calculation.
Maybe as simple as Total Points for the State divided by the cars. That would probably lean the needle towards the lower represented states as they would do well if a small number of drivers placed well.
If it's a straight points accumulation, then its numbers more than performance that would win.
Another option would be Top 3/5/9 cars from each state, total amassed points. Lot's of choices.
Finally, I know the NSW guys have a very full plate putting this on, so I don't want to add to their stress, I do however think it's a nice idea for the future.
Cameron

If it's to be a true " State of Origin" would you determine the origin of the driver or the car? I'm a roach with a South Oz car.
Maybe it should be a Tri Nations or World Cup. If I recall Superperformance is a Bok build!
