Also Craig, who did the carpets? They look very simple and I was also going for the same style.

I'll have to show my wife all the compliments. See I can do SOMETHING right.
Merv, the shifter angle feels great. But maybe I'm not real fussy. I'm pretty sure it was actually made by Don. The wheel arch splats and some of the trimming was done by a young guy down the coast here. He also did Warren's Cobra interior. And Warren has the same (expensive) carpet. I'll grab the details for you when I can find them. The exhaust headers etc were made by Trevor at CES( http://www.cesracing.com.au/). He is certainly a good option. The headers are ceramic coated in silver.

Andrew, I was compiling the list for another unfortunate situation, but we won't go there right now. Just bath in the glory that it's done.
Richard, do you like the wheels? I took my motivation after seeing your 15" street wheels at the Nationals a few years ago. Just let me know what (liquid) royalties are due.

A very sensible old-school choice!
Last year I ran the Yokos for the drags, go-too-slow and hillclimb. I figured I coudn't warm the Michelin 17's enough for grip. After this year's Shelbyfest I've decided to run the Michelins for all events. Can't be THAT cold again in Goulburn! The Yokos go well but can't match a track tyre.

Yeah, the Yoko's are a great street tyre for cruising or spirited fun. I'm really liking them, much better than the alternatives here.
Definitely not at home on the track. Good choice Richard, run the Michelins for all events regardless of air temp.

Fantastic

Congratulations. A fine piece of work.
It looks as good in these photos as it does in the flesh.
Well done.

I actually like it, especially it's reflection in the mirror finish stainless in the nose.

I'm sitting here looking at the cutaway poster of a SC roadster. the radiator lays back in the original car. I reckon that is a bit inefficient as the air tends to "slide" up and over the radiator. The RMC however has a forward sloping radiator which "traps" the air flow forcing it through the radiator without the aid of fans. I reckon it's a good design modification.
I've got an RMC :P

Really appreciate the comments guys.
Rob, I certainly can't complain, cooling works fine.
I have completely sealed around the radiator though.
Aluminium radiator upgrade made a noticable difference to temperature control at idle.

Craig
Curious about your ali radiaitor and cooling comment.
With my rebuild an ali radiator will be used, though Marty has already installed his radiator style support onto my chassis and will make the radiator vertical. Have to admit I though my car was running a touch cold so will be wporking on a way to better regulate operating temperature so that it stays at least warm.
But by your comment do you mean it takes longer for the system to heat up at idle or what is the effect you've noticed?
Oh and once again, well done on the build it looks fabulous. How did you manage the cranky Carroll signature on the dash?
Cheers
Steve

They were shrouded on the top, no less efficient then a forward sloping radiator shrouded at the bottom. (Although mine slopes back - so Im biased too )
