Cool Any Cobra get together in Victoria?

Hi All,

Just wondering if there are any Cobra cruises or get togethers in Victoria? I'm getting all the parts together at the moment and it would be good to talk to some like minded people and see their cars.

Cheers Mike

Cool

Im in the same situation as you , got lots of bits and loads of work to do , but making progress. If there is anything on, particularly Melb-metro, it would be great to have a look and have a yapp. It,s all about getting as many opinions as you can from those who are building or have done.

How is your Python progressing? did you buy a kit or is George doing a turnkey? How have you found the car/Kit? I spent a lot of time in at Python looking at their cars and almost decided to go with them.

Cheers
Mike

Mike;
I purchased a kit from George with front suspension and rack. I allready had the Jag rear. The motor and g/box are about to be slotted in. I haven't really touched the body. I'm happy with things so far and the people at Python continue to help. I've got one of his round tube chassis which at the time was new for them and I had to be patient, but thats ok as this whole process will not be rushed. I got a Python because I believed in what they were doing with the race car.
Who did you end up going with? and how are you finding it?
If you want to have a chat about the cars, you can e-mail me on chrisandsusan@rabbit.com.au and pass on a ph number and I'll chase you up. Its always good to talk to others and share information.
Regards Chris Lidgerwood

Default Vic get together

There is a drag meet at Heathcote Park coming up on the 16th of Sept. It's an official Cobra Car Club day.
Hope to see you there.
Bryan

Sound's good.

Heathcote is not to far from me, I live near Calder raceway so it's probably only an hour drive. Didn't get your attached picture, can you re-post it? or send it to me direct lmmurphy@austarmetro.com.au

Cheers
