Default things for a petrol head not to miss in melborne?

hi,
ova from nz for conference next week in melborne....what petrol-head things should i not miss on my spare time in or around melborne? Any sugestions welcomed

Cobra Make, Engine: Some kind of FORD thingy, with several pis tins, twin chain driven SUs feeding a Y block, apparently.

aaahh but then i'd have to take my favorite gumboots to auz to really make me feel at home...would they let me thru customs wearing them?

The Ferrari and Lamboghini dealers in Church street Richmond are worth a look.

Not much going on in the way of events, wrong time of year unfortunately.

If your staying in or around Melbourne Proper...you should drop in a see George at GMV(PYTHON Cobras)Ferras St South Melb....One of our long term Cobra manufactures...Also loads of early customs and Harleys and George will always be up for a chat!!!...........Then 10mins from there you have one of the best cars collections around (in the world)in The Fox Classic Car Collection in The Docklands Precinct...Definitely worth a look.
