The view from my verandah.
The fire is about 500 metres away.

Looks worse at night.
On a lighter note, I spotted this while at the butchers this morning.

Hopefully she's & everyone else is OK.
There are plenty of Skylines to be had for a bargain. The last skyline meet I went to I'd say a that a good 2 out 3 were for sale.
I guess this is one reason I love the AC cobra shape so much. 50 years on it still looks a stunner.
Whereas even the new Nissan GTR, as incredible as it is, will unfortunately age and be surpassed by some other another playstation generation toy.
Boxhead - I hope all is well on the fire front.

Date night with the Wife
The wife and I were walking one night and we passed this fancy new restaurant.
She says to me, "Did you smell that food? Mmmmm ,Incredible!"
Being the nice bloke that I am I thought, "Let's give her a treat."
So we walked past it again.

So is the fire under control?
Am I so late to ask that it is old news?

If that is my fire pics, then yes, all under control now.
About 3 weeks after that fire, the entire mountain range in the background was set ablaze. No pics as I was on my way to the Nationals, my wife said that was a very big fire.
