So you think there is nothing I can do to get it running again? If it's going to need a whole new engine, screw that. I'll get a GTP or something.

Nah, I put the metal topped bench out in the sun, and sit parts on it to paint, works great for wrinkle finish paint.
I need to redo my air filter top, as it was not warm enough last week, back upto 37 today and getting warmer

Gee 10 years has just gone...
Mmmmm and 4 Posts per day. Just kidding I jumped 100's of Posts per day when I have been viewing photos sitting around airports. Probably 8,000 of my Posts have been looking at photos. I know I have flattened the battery a few times..

I must have missed the television play of this, but I see that Audi won the Bathurst 12 hr, over Mercedes and Ferrari. The Ferrari set a new track record for Mt Panorama, however. A Holden HRV squeaked in over a Subaru Sti that had to stop to repair a blown turbo. Any sites for replays of this event?

Thanks for posting Merv,
I'd be keen to catch some highlights also, so let me know if you find anything.
Also if you could clarify cos I'm confused - was it the Audi R8 or the Ferrari that set a lap record? Website has Audi as 2:08+ & the Ferrari 458 at 2:09+
Bathurst 12 Hour
Thanks

Dimis, on the Just Cars site they have a story : "The number 17-Il Bello Rosso-Ferrari (Allan Simonsen, Dominik Farnbacher, John Bowe, Peter Edwards) had a few problems, firstly running out of fuel and then, after a spirited drive during which Simonsen set a new outright race lap record at Mount Panorama in 2.06.3311 minutes
I will see what can be found on that race. Certainly more interesting than the Commodore/Falcon clones.

A few of you guys were wanting to see this on TV.....
The following was on that attached website for the event....
Tune in to Foxtel's Speed Channel 7pm on Sat 24 Mar 12 to watch the 3 hour highlights show of the Armor All Bathurst 12 Hour
Hope that helps,
Cheers,
Warren.

Thanks Warren. It was live too according to the Armoural site. There are some decent YouTube parts (1) 2011 Armor All Bathurst 12 Hour Part 1 HD - YouTube and (2) 2011 Armor All Bathurst 12 Hour Part 2 HD - YouTube
Now I should call Foxtel and arrange (re) connection! Does anyone know the best times from the V8 "Supercars"?

I believe Lowndes holds it from 2011 with 2:06.89. Not sure if this was a race lap or shootout lap. Most likely shoot out.
