Legless
The original cobra lucas L542 have a reflective surface but they are not ADR approved. They also were OE on the Hillman minx (1964 ) I purchased a Hillman kept the lights and other lucas switches and onsold the car for the purchase price but sadly the lights did not have the E circle.I believe PACE might have the approved lights

The Hospital's Fault?
A woman has sued her local hospital, saying that after her husband was treated recently, he has lost all interest in sex.
A hospital spokesman replied, "the man was admitted to Ophthalmology - all we did was correct his eyesight" ...

I got a random phone call Saturday morning, a fella saying they are making a movie and looking for cars suitable for a 1977 scenery.
He tells me the movie is based on the writings of Robyn Davidson, who in 1977 traveled from Alice Springs to Carnarvon with her dog and 4 camels. Tracks by Robyn Davidson - Reviews, Discussion, Bookclubs, Lists
So I sent the guy some pictures of George the Valiant Goon, he rings me straight back, paying for fuel, accommodation, food and $300 per day (2 days including drive time), it appears George will have a caravan on the back and be used in the movie, sure hope he makes the final cut.
:-)

I hope you've read all the horror stories of how cars are treated in movie making and how there's no compensation or repair. I'm sure others can add to this.
A friend of Jordan Leist(the photographer) had his house broken into and when he confronted them they did a bolt in a silver VY Commodore with the rego plates HO57TILE if you see it you know what to do

Just got home from filming, fark it was hot.
I lent against a chrome strip on inside of doors, got blisters.
No air con. metal dash and vinyl seats dont help.
Some pics.
Stopped for a quick pic on my way down.
George getting his make up applied.
The lady with her back to camera is the one who wrote the book and did the walk in 1977.
The shot was with me driving George upto the rock pillars you can see in the distance, I had 3 other fellas in the car (we looked like a bunch of backpackers), stooped at rangers box, ask how much, and hand over a $2 note, got a $1 note as change (entry fee in 1977 was 50c each), 2 cameras filmed, one front on and one from rear right, so not sure if you will see me or just my arm in movie.
The girl in blue shirt sitting down on far right is the main actress, Mia Wasikowska (she played Alice in Tim Burtons Alice in Wonderland), very nice girl and chatty.
