it was the worst show I have seen. Who wants to watch them bash up half a dozen brand new astras? And the W427 what did they actually tell us about it? It will be off air after one season cause no-one will watch it.

I watched last night for the first time since the opening show (was not impressed enough to want to watch it again).
I agree it was a waste of time, and what was the fun in watching them damage th enew Astra's, great TV (yeah right).
I liked to watch and listen to the W427 but it really did not show us anything.

I felt like I was trying to find the "Nipple Shot" !!!!

Fast forward....watch for a couple of seconds...

Crap......

Fast forward again.....watch for another couple of seconds.....

Still Crap !

Fast forward....etc....etc....etc...

Hit the delete button, and watch something else.

WOW.....find the best car being produced for Australia, the lovely W427....and do dough-nuts in a bloody skid pan, or "Slideys" on a bloody dirt road....

If they gave SBS an enema....this is where they'd insert the hose.

I Feel better now,

Regards,
Warren.

p.s You recon' Russell Ingall is the Stig ???? Looks a lot like him !

Can't stand to watch enough of the show to be convinced.

Thumbs down

I missed the show (TOP GEAR AUSTRALIA) last night, I remembered about half way thru' after watching 'Two & a half Men' and I was looking at the TV program, but I couldn't be bothered to switch over.
When the British show was on, it was burnt into my memory and I never missed a show.

After the first couple of shows I didnt even turn Top Gear on last night. Looked at the OZ event photos from the Nationals which were much more entertaining

The Ford V's Holden show gave them a real chance to gain some cred. They blew it! Instead of comming out and saying which one was better they did the old "both these cars are great" thing.

Before the Australian Top Gear was shown the critics said that the real test would be wheather or not the show was prepared to piss of major advertisers by being honest about their cars (as the British show does). In my opinion the Austrtalian show has definately failed that test. Because of that the show just becomes a car advert.

Well lets give the guys a go to settle in and work out their style, but really THAT LITTLE GUY'S GOTTA GO! He's about as funny as a fart in an elevator, the only person who thinks its funny is the guy who did it. I like Waren but who is the other dude and his claim to fame?????
