They wont accept an FEA on the staples in binder.
I gotta ask, WTF is an FEA?

Finite Element Analysis. It's a computer aided design method to determine where the high stress points are in the design of a component. There are several software packages available to do it.

Cheers Mike, I must be too old school.
FEA in my eyes meant Front End Alignment.
And that did not make sence in the way it has been used in posts.

I was at the newsagents just now, they have them on sale out here.
Article on Cobra Nationals (plenty of recognisable faces and cars) and an article on your car Baz.

Thanks for the reminder Boxhead! I just bought the PDF/hardcopy option online and it looks like a great read with tons of Cobra and GT40 articles plus a lengthy technical section on spring and shocker setup. The editor apologises for delays in publication due to economic downturn so perhaps a few forum members can find $8.90 to support the effort. You'll have the electronic PDF in a matter of minutes.

Yes I saw that Dave. Not a bad article, but a lot of conversation and quotes attributed to have been said by me in the script were a figment of someones imagination. I've been verballed, but it makes for good reading.

I thought that you would have been even more forthright Baz! Nice article with good balance on the positive.

Accually Merv, I did have a bit more to say about certain aspects than was written, but Robert Jacobs, the Editor toned it down a bit.

wish I could...I paid my subscription about a year ago, and have never received a copy, nor the back issue that I also paid for. It's sad.

was never able to get someone on the phone, had initial dealings via email and kind of lost track and mentally wrote off the money.

I received my copy, even though my subscription had expired. I was sent it in good faith in the hope that I would re-subscribe. I did.
