Hi Gregg, I noticed in your gallery the use of rams on the bonnet hinges. Is this something youve done or is it part of the new kit?

RRegards.

Wishfull

I too used Bernie at Enkelmans and pestered him by phone and email over a period of time for technical ADR issues. Can highly recommend them and even whilst passing issues in engineering Bernie was still suggesting improvements he though of value.

Would be worth the phone call to him to explain what you are doing and particularly for advice on engine options at present. Obviously he can't crystal ball guess changes down the track but at least some guidance can be got.

And as to VIN's in Victoria, Vicroads stopped issuing them to the punters directly quite some time ago. Only the VASS engineers deal with Vicroads directly now and then liaise with their clients once a VIN is issued. From Vicroad's perspective they have far more control and less slight of hand happening out there. Due process sadly.

Give Enkelmans a call it can't hurt and lets them know you are waiting.

They can only follow up and either find out Vicroads is still chugging through the process (not so good) or you have fallen off the list for some reason (very bad) and at least it prods them back into wakefullness!

Cheers

Hi Mando, The gas struts are something new that Ian from CR has sourced. You need to make sure you get the ones with the right compression rates etc. I can let you know the brand/specs of mine if you're interested. I am pretty sure they fit the pre 2008 chassis. Nice and easy to fit and a lot less hassle. They were the first thing I fitted to stop the boot and bonnet falling down on me.

Good idea Steve, I'll give Bernie a call to see how things are going.
