Just received my VIN# from Vic Roads today
I just happened to phone my Eng today to check on the progress of my VIN# thinking that he would say "havent heard ring back in 4 week" and he said by coincidence it arrived today.
I dont think I will be able to sleep until my actual rego appointment. Now off to book in for that.
hope the 40 degree days in MElb dont persist for too long
Rgds
"very happy" Gregg
P.S. Slowy - I'll be around soon after rego with some "parts to give back"

Thanks guys.
Cant wait to get that final tick and have it on the road.
Booked in for Rego next Wed Feb 4th.
Then I can take it to a tuner and get the big flat spot in Accel worked out. I still reckon its fuel starvation. But my fuel pressure is ok back at the pump in the rear of the car, I want to get a fuel pressure guage and put it on the fuel rail.
Rgds

Yes well done Gregg but shame about the weather though its neither conducive to driving cobras or sitting in offices without a/c. I'm working from home today as the office was about 32 C yesterday late arvo when I got back in - yuk!
Anyway no rush on those seats as I'm still waiting for Marty to clear a space or two before my chassis leaves my garage.
I'm also waiting for Mr Dellow to machine up my new bellhousing and supply the rest of the bits to simply bolt the new box to the back of the motor. Jeff makes or supplys all the right bits so I can use my current 3 bolt starter on the correct side and I'm also going hydraulic on the clutch. I can't wait either!!
Look forward to seeing your beast and I'm sure I'll see the ear to ear grin first as you drive up our court - strange about that!!
You need to do a few shake down trips, so come on down the beer is cold in the fridge!!
Steve

Best of luck with rego next Wed Gregg. The Vic Cobra Club meeting is on that night, would be a great way to initiate the car I reckon! I'm heading down for the first time in ages, might see you there.
Slowy - what's cold beer? Our power is out at home and we're in a queue of 158 other homes in our suburb alone.

Paul
I've just seen an email from one of our enviro team to the EPA asking for temporary storage of transformer oils as 3 Jemna transformers blew up in Nunawading and Ringwood.
The way the email was worded further tranny explosions are on the cards.
Not suprising given the weather conditions.
Hmmmm................cold beer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Gav,
I had the Eng done on Dec 8th, but there was a couple of things that I had to fix up, so I reckon my application went in about 19th Dec.
Allow about 1-2 weeks for XMAS hol break.
So I would reckon about 4-6 weeks would be what you could expect (I was initially told 1-2 months).

Sambo, I was thinking of driving my newly registered ride to the meeting. Althought there are a couple of bits of workmanship I might not want others to see yet until I fix them - will see how brave I am.

Congratulations Gregg and good luck with the rego next week.
#3505 almost on the road, #3508 barely on the blocks with a loooong way to go, I'm envious! Be brave, drive to your club meeting.
Regards, Dennis

Thanks Bernie.
Another one, thats great news.
Now all I have to do is get it painted and then do the carpets and trim doors - minor problems - but at least the pressure is off from a Engineering/rego perspective.
Hope to catch up with you all at a drive day soon.
Rgds
