Another Newby
Hi fellow enthusiasts,
I've been following the forum for about 18 months. The trials of Aussie Mike, Slowy,Gjkvr8, have made fascinating reading. The journey of Merv and Sharon in particular has been inspirational. From their tentative beginnings to their outstanding result has been wonderful.
Well, what's the point - I've taken the plunge and taken delivery of a Harrison #96 and !!!! there's a lot of work to do and I will be calling on your collective knowledge to help me. I hope too that I can help others with the experience I gain along the way.

Thanks Pecal and welcome - if we can help in any way let us know. I have thousands of photos of every conceivable fitting if you ever need it. Also I seem to have built up a store of ideas, from others, that may be useful. Keep in close touch with Warwick and you will not go wrong.
Very best
Merv

Yes welcome Pecal and make good use of this forum.
Seeing you are in Melbourne, whereabouts do you reside? And can you make the CCCV meeting at the East Malvern RSL this Wednesday?
A good way to start putting faces to names and handles.
Cheers

Pecal - where are up at in terms of the build? Did you get a rolling chassis or will you be fitting the suspension?

Hey Merv,
Check Pecal's gallery and you'll know the answer.
You should recognize the car.
We've both seen it recently at Warwick's shop.
Welcome Pecal,
Enjoy the ride !
Cheers,
Warren.

Welcome Pecal,
The build phase is fantastic fun.
I notice you have purchased a roller - I did the same. Saves a lot of time.
I think most of my build information, tips, and sources for parts etc came from this forum.
Dont be afraid to ask the forum.
Rgds

Hi Guys,
Thanks for encouragement. Slowy - I'll be at the meeting on Wednesday, I've actually been to the last few meetings and the guys I've met so far have been great. Merv, the car isn't quite your normal roller. I just ordered it with enough bits to steer it and a handbrake to slow its progress down to the shed. The first job is the rear end which I have out to do a ratio change, clean up refurbish.

Probably not really - lol, but we will catch up.
Cheers and enjoy the journey!

Wazza
I think you've confused the discussion between two issue here one being the issue of hair missing down south as opposed to those of us being.........follically challeneged??
Now I have seen those previous threads with the pictures of the type of people you associate with, were they Mexicans too, or are you speaking from personal experience??
Cheers
