I might need to drill some drain holes in the footwells

As I havent done my interior nothing much there to get wet except the driver.

Weather forecast is actually getting better each day (I am keeping a close eye on it).

This will be my first ShelbyFest (as a spectator this time) so looking forward to it

See you sat morn

Hey guys,

I'll come along for the trip for the day. I need to see a few of these things together so I can get colour, interior, and other ideas underway for my build.

I'll meet you at the shell servo at 7.00am, its just down the road for me.

Lawrence.

Glade to have you along. I'd pack a jacket just incase someone has a spare seat and can not only let you see some of these things togaether, but give you a ride in it.

I'm a fair chance to meet you guys at 7am Saturday. Need to be back in Eltham by 5pm for a family birthday dinner which shouldn't be difficult.

Well it seems for other reasons that I'll be back in Melbourne Friday night so I may as well join in the convoy fun Saturday morning.

I've no return timings to meet though I wasn't thinking of joining in any after race frivolity so I'll probably drive back more directly down the Hume and toll roads late arvo / evening.

So if the above timings help anyone I've spare seats in the XR8 too and I'll come up from Asp Gardens to Templestowe for the 7am kick off.

Cheers

Steve

Soulman

You jest don't you? Or did you not read the earlier posts?

More than happy to take you up to Winton if you can't afford the fuel for the Kirky, and you have no definitive timings for the day, PM me you contact details and I'll call you. You'll have to drive up to Aps Gdns first though, that ok??

Cheers

Steve

Thanks Steve,
What i really need is someone to carry a spare for me 15x8.
My car runs Billboards-the ultimate long distance/offroad tyres-yeah right!
and i dont like my chances for 500+klms.
So perhaps a Slab/Lunch is up for grabs if you or any one else can carry a wheel for me.
Ill drop it off ofcourse.
Ill pm you my number.
Thanks.
Soul.

Soulman I'll be in a late model VW Golf with space for your spare. You're free to throw it in my boot at the rendezvous tomorrow morning. Only thing is I'll be leaving Winton around 2pm so it'll have to come back with me then or perhaps with someone else?
