Thumbs up Another Fine Auto hits the market

Some of you may already know that I will be moving on from Beijing in June. I have been posted to our HQ in the US, and will be residing there from the end of June this year.

Although I have been able to make a few return trips back to Oz to drive in some great events with you all, I won't have the same flexibility from the U.S. I will also likely pick up a local car to drive while there for the next 5 years at least.

So, my Superformance Cobra is for sale. Those who know the car, will know it's a well put together machine with lot's of extras and capable of everything from racer to waxer. I have posted a web site with all the relevant info for those interested.

Superformance MkIII for sale

Cheers

Cameron

Thumbs up All the Best

Cameron,

Hope the move to the US goes well.

Will miss trying to catch you at the Nationals and Shelbyfest as you certainly
are the benchmark in that lovely SF cobra of yours.

All the very best,

Leeroy.

Default Don't forget us.

Cameron,

I hope I'm not out of line here, speaking on behalf of the NSW Cobra enthusiasts, but on behalf of all of us, I would like to wish you all the best on your new venture to the good ole US of A.

Your input into this Forum has been invaluable. I'm sorry to see your fabulous car (88) up for sale. Someone is going to purchase a real gem of a vehicle. I know that you will be sorry to see it go.

Please don't forget us and drop your input into the Forum now and then if you have time.

Regards

Baz

Cam,
That is great news and an opertunity not to be ignored.
I would expect you will show the yanks a thing or two during your assaults during their club events!

Sam will be shattered that he won't be able to debate the great questions about life love and Ford vs Chev with you for a while but I am sure that he will be waiting for you when you return.

Good luck
Gav

Thanks All,

yes it's a great opportunity and I will also miss the regular events in Oz. I will no doubt be getting back for the occassional adventure and may be sticking the thumb out for a ride

Owning the car is 50% of the prize (or less) the balance is all the mates you meet along the way.

Baz, thanks for the kind words. 88 needs an owner to keep the spiders at bay. I truly hope it continues to grace events all over.

Good news is, in a few years I hope to return with something suitable to present at a future Nationals

Gav, you will just have to pick up Sam and meet me at Road America, it's going to be about an hour from my new home.

Leeroy, thanks mate, for all the remote control assists and more.

Stiffy.... get a Mac... the web becomes a breeze

As there was in Beijing, there is an open invite to Oz Cobra Club members to visit & stay. Thanks to those who came to Beijing... I'm always up for a beer, no matter how watered down

Cheers

Cameron

Spose that Mac will get VOIP if it's not got it already. Calling from the States can cost a heap.

Les,

I use protection to guard against VOIP and other digitally transmitted bugs

Steve, we will be in Wisconsin, not far from Milwaukee... Close to Road America

You need to get used to the smell of cheese then

The ideal car for Road America is something really fast and corners well with great brakes.. like a 911 or Corvette.. you need adult diapers for Canada Corner ...

You can buy a 911 Turbo here pretty cheap, saw a 2004 the other day with 35,000 miles for $US 45K.. probably be slightly more in OZ...

Cam,

Was great chatting to you at the last breakfast at Sanctuary Cove, best of luck with the move and selling 'the beast'. I hope you're still a Queenslander at heart!

Good luck with the move.

Thanks Bernie,

We would be glad to see you. We had a nice visit to Mt Gambier, the motel owner was quite the Corvette man. The drive down the Great Ocean Road was a perfect end.

There's nothing like seeing that blue ocean after a few days of dry, dry inland roads.

The reward at the end of the day - and a few beers of course

Cameron

I'd call be posted to the States a punishment.
What have you done/not done to deserve such a heavy sentence?

Well Les,

I was out at the Forbidden City the other day and must have had too many green teas.... how was I to know it was a Ming Dynasty vase ? It's all porcelain to me

Hi Cameron, the more recent pics look like your running 17" rims. Are they? and if so what size are the rims, what size rubber are you running, where did you get them from and could you post some more pics please? Im not sure but they seem to look like the rims usually seen on the Ellenor cars. They look great!

Regards.
